Never mind.
Hosts manage to be both mind-numbingly boring and entirely lacking of any real film knowledge. As another reviewer put it, "if you’re going to have a podcast about movies, you should actually see the movies". For example, maybe one of the hosts could have put in the effort of watching Cory Finley's ONLY other film, Thoroughbreds, before reviewing his most recent one, Bad Education. A little perspective goes a long way.
if you’re going to have a podcast about movies, you should actually see the movies...boring and dull...
Ryan and Mike have great chemistry and keep their reviews fun and fresh. The LGBTQ angle is there as a lens, but isn’t overwhelming. Great balance and fun show!
Love the chemistry between the hosts and the gay take on films but not in an overbearing way. They explore unique and fun ideas of the films they review which is great to hear and it’s funny! They also give spoiler warnings which is helpful!

This show offers weekly, candid film critiques from a queer perspective, often examining how identity, sexuality, and representation shape narratives and performances. Episodes blend thoughtful analysis with playful banter, covering a wide range of new releases and notable titles, plus occasional industry-focused offshoots like award conversations and festival pick discusión. A standout trait is the team's explicit commitment to LGBTQ viewpoints, while maintaining broad appeal through accessible discussion, humor, and spoiler-aware notes. The format often includes personal lenses, diverse film selections, and a willingness to critique studio choices or marketing that clashes with the film's intent.
