Hi from Canada Manitoba, I suffer from anxiety and depression I been too therapy off and on and now currently seeing one she says I’m beating the roots because she said I was sad and lonely didn’t know how to cope with it. I’m doing better. I overthink a lot off and on or I try not. I took anxiety meds and got off of them last year, now I’m taking insomnia meds for my anxiety healing. I like the ideas behind what she is saying, but sometimes the advice doesn’t feel secure in practical advice. It feels nebulous.
The best part about Maggie’s work is her blend of practical knowledge and application recommendations. She’s willing to say “I feel this is because…” without limitation. Maggie’s been making sense for a long time and she keeps getting better.
This is such a phenomenal podcast. I came to a point in life where I realized the way I went about healing myself wasn’t working. In fact, it was actively making things worse.
