  • Well-informed host and enjoyable show.

I was Teddy‘s guest a few months ago and I really enjoyed it. He was well informed as he obviously reads widely and had some great ideas for all authors, whether traditionally or self-published. I look forward to catching up with the rest of the series.

Teddy Smith is an engaging podcast host and asks excellent questions. This show will certainly help both novice and experienced authors to succeed! We talked about mistakes most first-time authors make that sabotage their success and what to do instead to set your book up to achieve its potential to increase your impact and income. Gillian Harvey - The 11,000-Review Author: How French Living Created Bestselling Women's Fiction
Q: And in your books, you've got quite a lot of funny parts to them, and you add elements of humor. Do you actively do it on purpose or is it a case of just saying what the characters you think they would say?
I can see the ridiculousness in them, whether that's my own life or a character's life.
Gillian Harvey - The 11,000-Review Author: How French Living Created Bestselling Women's Fiction
Q: Did you always want to be a writer?
I really, really wanted to be a writer ever since I could remember.
Gillian Harvey - The 11,000-Review Author: How French Living Created Bestselling Women's Fiction
Q: So what's your book that's coming out?
My book is called The Little Provence Bookshop, and it's all about a woman who's searching for her real family and finds a little bit more than she bargained for when she comes to work at a bookshop in Provence.
Christina Graves - The Psychological Thriller That Launched Thrill Forge
Q: What are some of the key things they should try and bear in mind to make that book as good as possible?
Just try to be true to what you think of as horror. Don't try to stick with some sort of pre put together list of what a horror novel has to have, because horror is very adaptable.
Ellen Erikson – How to Publish Classic Books Legally: The Complete Public Domain Guide
Q: What steps do you take in order to get it formatted?
You can either outsource formatting to a professional or do it yourself, but old manuscripts can be quite complicated, making outsourcing often worthwhile.
