I believe the author is empowering women, who may not be in their ideal place both mentally and physically, to take steps to make that change by encompassing the ideas of living in the present moment, and understanding oneself better. She does this by beautifully explaining the importance of living your life from moment to moment, and to spend time alone to ask yourself about who you really are, and eventually what makes you happy.
