    In 2018, I had my first child and like many women, I had postpartum depression and anxiety. I had a friend who was expecting and told her, if she ever found herself feeling depressed, or just in a really dark place postpartum, that I totally understood and that I would be there for her. After she delivered, she called me and said she was struggling. I talked with her often, sent her any resource I had found helpful, and looked for podcasts to send to her.
