I think plastic waste in the United States is being ignored because we don’t want to think about it. If we thought about it, we would need to deal with it. If we dealt with it, we would need to change our lifestyles. We’re stuck in denial and fear. We can’t get to acceptance until we hear podcasts like this one. Then we can make clear and clever changes.
