I think I’ve finally earned enough apple seeds to leave a review. While I’m not a believer in objective perfection, I think the show understands that. Scot’s a wonderful host and his enthusiasm for his topics shines through. I especially enjoy him chasing down his favorite Japanese things across the US. I actually got myself some pink shoes, in part, because of this show. May all our journeys be filled with perfect things.
I love the way the stories unfold each episode. Scot is a master at taking you one direction and then hitting you with surprising, poignant turns. This is a great show to have on while you sit back, close your eyes, and be transported for a bit.
What a great show full of love and affection for the host’s favorite things. Very uplifting, super recommend the episode about setting up tents with the host and his daughter - their connection is heartwarming and fun.
Great show, you could even say perfect
This is an excellent podcast. Morena really resonated with me in a palpable way, and I could completely relate - especially moving from Kansas to overseas. The stories are told in a way that is so interesting, sentimental, and just enough humor in the earlier episodes. It is like listening to a favorite book.
