  • Phenomenal

I have just found this amazing show and it’s phenomenal. Rob controls the game so well whilst giving the players every chance to flex their skills. Compelling, riveting, horror filled storytelling and I have over 300 episodes to binge listen to. How lucky am I 💜

  • an impeccably produced actual play podcast set in a world not unlike our own, where people with extraordinary abilities work to investigate and protect the world from ontologically problematic events. think the X-Men solving the x-files, plus a secret war for the future of everything.

while it's an actual play, you don't need to know or care about the game mechanics - they are mentioned but not belabored over; listen for fantastic collaborative storytelling.

  • urgent transmission!

this is such an intricately and diabolically-constructed puzzle box of a podcast! the characters, production quality, and sound design are all excellent and do so much to build a full (and frightening) world. if you aren’t hooked right off the bat, stick around till the Overdue Book arc, and you’ll be in it for the long haul.
