  • Great, but

Love this pod. Great balance of reviews and interviews.

But… the episode today with the three Johns and a few before have got very whingy. We understand it is hard for managers. But they are not unique in their stressful job. I work in AE and my wife is a teacher. There are people in other high pressure jobs. I get as a football manager it is like that. But could you please focus on the positives? It was 30 mins of “they don’t understand”. Be assured we really do.

  • Paul Tisdale interview

Paul Tisdale a fascinating man, his conversation is compelling. Loved his perspectives i) that the partnership of Julian Tagg, Steve Perryman and himself was the key aspect of the club’s long term success; ii) leaving the club with high continuity when Matt Taylor took over was his greatest achievement. Top drawer podcast.
