Great to get this podcast back with the brilliant David Prutton! Great stuff
Love this pod. Great balance of reviews and interviews.
But… the episode today with the three Johns and a few before have got very whingy. We understand it is hard for managers. But they are not unique in their stressful job. I work in AE and my wife is a teacher. There are people in other high pressure jobs. I get as a football manager it is like that. But could you please focus on the positives? It was 30 mins of “they don’t understand”. Be assured we really do.
Informative, interesting with a good range of guests. What’s not to like?!

Some great guests on every week. Well worth a listen
Paul Tisdale a fascinating man, his conversation is compelling. Loved his perspectives i) that the partnership of Julian Tagg, Steve Perryman and himself was the key aspect of the club’s long term success; ii) leaving the club with high continuity when Matt Taylor took over was his greatest achievement. Top drawer podcast.
