  • Worst podcast

Why does the volume always go up and down and the host Anne put herself on the cover of the podcast? What a glory hound.

It’s the same 3 people over and over again - aren’t there other experts to hear from at A.R.T.?

  • Very good info but a lot of ups & downs in regard to sound volume.

For some reason or another the sound volume of your podcasts goes up and down a lot. Not always but often. This makes it harder to listen to, especially if there is some background noise. I listen to a variety of podcasts and, while other podcasts may have this a little bit, the Super Insider podcasts are substantially worse in that regard.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Should you pay off your mortgage or boost your super?
Q: Is it a percentage of your income? Is it like when you say in control?
Control is about whether you can comfortably service the mortgage while building or preserving retirement assets; if the mortgage is under control and you have surplus, consider salary sacrificing into super, otherwise focus on a plan that maintains cash flow.
Should you pay off your mortgage or boost your super?
Q: But I have a $700,000 mortgage. And I come to you and I say, Brad, what do I do?
There is no one right answer; the best move depends on life stage, debt level, income, and access to funds, with options including contributing to super to reap tax benefits or paying down the mortgage, or a balance of both based on capability and risk tolerance.
Super property investments: your money at work
