  • Grateful beyond measure for this podcast

I started listening to Anna’s podcast in January 2023 when I was 21 weeks pregnant with my first. I hadn’t yet touched the surface of true physiological birth and was simply looking for “natural birth” stories, which in my mind was just giving birth to a baby in the normal way, not by c-section, and natural birth could include epidurals and pitocin. With that mindset, I was a little put off by the first few stories I listened to, but I kept listening because Anna provides a gentle, kind and trus... more

  • So helpful!

For me, this podcast was so helpful while I was pregnant with my first baby. I knew that I wanted a natural birth and although I wanted a home, I felt that the natural birth was the most important thing for me and that I should also listen to stories of women who birthed in hospitals. I really enjoy how the guests are from all over the world because I feel it gives an accurate understanding of the medical system. I very much recommend this podcast to anyone who is pregnant, regardless of what th... more

  • Frustratingly negative podcast

I am planning to have a natural birth in the hospital and sought out a podcast to try and prepare for that. Listening to the episode about natural birth in the hospital was frustrating. This woman is extremely negative towards hospital births and will leave you feeling like you basically have no chance of succeeding with a natural hospital births. I’m disappointed in her negativity towards a situation that to her is not “perfect”. Maybe it’s perfect for someone else though.
