  • So helpful!

For me, this podcast was so helpful while I was pregnant with my first baby. I knew that I wanted a natural birth and although I wanted a home, I felt that the natural birth was the most important thing for me and that I should also listen to stories of women who birthed in hospitals. I really enjoy how the guests are from all over the world because I feel it gives an accurate understanding of the medical system. I very much recommend this podcast to anyone who is pregnant, regardless of what th... more

  • Frustratingly negative podcast

I am planning to have a natural birth in the hospital and sought out a podcast to try and prepare for that. Listening to the episode about natural birth in the hospital was frustrating. This woman is extremely negative towards hospital births and will leave you feeling like you basically have no chance of succeeding with a natural hospital births. I’m disappointed in her negativity towards a situation that to her is not “perfect”. Maybe it’s perfect for someone else though.

I would advise her to cultivate and get in touch with her own intuition, emphasizing the importance of being her own guide during birth.
First Time Mama Phoebe Birthing her Breech Baby at Home
Q: When you became pregnant, was that a conscious conception?
Yes, I definitely had a birth goal of a home birth and a natural birth. It was a conscious conception.
Home Birthing as an Expat in Ireland & Czech Republic
Q: How was your first birth experience in Ireland?

Q: If you had a first time mama in front of you right now, she's about to have her first baby, what advice would you give to her?
It's wise to look for your fears, trace them, and face them before caregivers start using those fears against you.
