Found Dave and Ashley‘s show recently and I’ve listened to several episodes. The advice and content they talk about is excellent and very helpful!
You have said that when your wife says "when you have a minute coukd you do this" it means do it now. I woukd take this to mean coukd you do thus soon, not what you said that you need to do it now. If she means do it now, that is what she should say.
I think Dave and Ashley are great at being vulnerable and have a lot of wisdom for married couples. However, when I heard that they are having Jimmy Evans on as a guest after the spiritual abuse and controversies he was involved with came out, l I just had to unfollow. No matter if he was the founder of XO, he should not be given a platform to give guidance on anything spiritual given that he has only given excuses for his behavior and no apology.
My husband actually introduced me to this podcast. We will listen to episodes apart from each other and talk about them later. It feels like we are constantly poured into in a good way and talk about it afterwards. We absolutely love this podcast!
Love listening to all their advice even though I’ve been married 40 years! So authentic!
