They have some good advice, but in my opinion sometimes they come off disrespectful or uncompassionate towards listeners who are truly hurting and in hard marriages. The message comes across sometimes as, “Deal with it, you’re probably the problem.” Which maybe you are some of the problem… and maybe it’s truly hurtful what you are going through.
I think there’s a lot of good topics being covered here, and in general the show is good. But I get irritated at how often Ryan will interrupt or talk over Selena, or dominate the conversation. I wouldn’t say it’s all the time, but some episodes it’s pretty frequent as well as minor comments here and there that lack respect. It makes me wanna turn it off.
I love this podcast. Always a good, playful dialogue between husband and wife, with EVERYTHING they say rooted in scripture. Their podcast and other resources have blessed my marriage
Great marriage tips & can be entertaining as well with some humor mixed in.
Ryan & Selena it would be helpful to have the podcast episodes numbered so it would be easier to locate as sometime blogs or shows from a few years back get re-posted & its hard to search Apple podcasts by subject or title alone.
Thanks!
Can’t wait for every episode!!! I routinely listen to episodes 3-6 times a week in between an episode. Love they keep God first, growing in Christ!!

This show centers on gospel-centered marriage guidance through candid, humorous dialogues between a husband and wife. Episodes frequently explore biblical roles, communication strategies, and practical steps couples can take to strengthen their relationships, with a strong emphasis on accountability, church community, and faith. Notable with this pair: they weave scripture into real-life situations (infidelity, submission, leadership, boundaries with in-laws) and place a premium on humility, grace, and ongoing growth in family life. A distinctive angle is the integration of practical relationship coaching with devotional theology, appealing to listeners seeking faith-forward, actionable marriage wisdom and community support.
