Maddy and Ryan travel back in time to 1981, when Iceman was still closeted and also was one of the three stars of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. This show also introduced a new mutant character named Firestar who got added to comic book canon la... more
Ryan, Todd, and Maddy reconvene to discuss the second half of Deadpool 2 (2018), in which Deadpool and Cable do not kiss, to the chagrin of 2018-era Maddy. In 2025, though, we can all recognize what little gayness this movie could manage, which is Ca... more
Maddy, Ryan, and Todd discuss the first half of Deadpool 2, which is thankfully an improvement over the first Deadpool movie, but it still has a lot of Vanessa and Wade's chemistry-devoid love story that should not be in the movie. Despite that, we f... more

Finally, a mutant podcast that focused on the important issue: homoeroticism.
Also the music is so good.
Absolutely fantastic podcast. Maddy and Ryan are filled with X-Men knowledge. As a fan of X-Men myself but don’t know too many comic storylines, I love being given a quick summary of important comic storylines and how they relate and are similar/different to what’s being portrayed in X-Men shows/films.
Highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves X-Men and queerness. And the music segments are top notch. This pod’s theme song is constantly stuck in my head.

I love this show! I’ve been listening to it for probably a couple years and it’s honestly been a driving force behind me getting more into the x-man. The analysis is so interesting and funny and always just a joy to listen to.
Perfect watch along podcast, especially if you want to know how every character is gay. Original songs are bops. I listened in 2017 and now I'm back.
I love listening to Maddy and Ryan’s takes on the X-men—they have a unique read on these characters that are first I thought was a bit crazy but the more I’ve listened to the cast and rewatched episodes I can really see their interpretation in the source material. Oh also—sorry for being basic but the music legit slaps—it’s so catchy.
