  • Propaganda show now

This show use to provide good content.

    I don’t understand what happened.

It’s now, what I can only describe as propaganda, from Charles, is now longer insightful or useful. It’s a rambling of what feels like grandiosity & delusions that simply don’t exist in the real world.

I don’t know what happened, but I hope things eventually return to a level of sanity that useful information can be restored to this formerly good podcast.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How a Caribbean MSP Is Leading the Global Shift in Cybersecurity
Q: Will Fresh Mango be able to help determine AI adoption with customers given regulatory contexts?
Yes, the MSP intends to act as a guide and advisor, balancing client needs with cyber policy considerations, and helping customers select tools that align with governance and security requirements rather than pushing unvetted solutions.
How a Caribbean MSP Is Leading the Global Shift in Cybersecurity
Q: How is AI entering Fresh Mango's thinking, if at all?
AI is being integrated thoughtfully, with an emphasis on governance, privacy, and guardrails; the company is piloting tools, establishing policies, and ensuring staff use is controlled, aiming for measurable business benefits without compromising security or control.
The Role of Penetration Testing in MSP Cybersecurity
Q: What is the role of the MSP in penetration testing, and when should a client seek a pen test?
MSPs should lead by example for internal testing and collaborate with independent specialists; a client should generally pursue pen testing as part of ongoing cyber maturity, not just during onboarding, with testing integrated into continuous assessment rather than a one-off event.
The Role of Penetration Testing in MSP Cybersecurity
Q: Do MSPs still need penetration testing if they already have a robust toolset (EDR, MDR, SIM, etc.)?
Yes. Pen testing stress-tests the entire tool chain, reveals how weaknesses could be exploited in practice, and helps validate the effectiveness of existing controls by simulating real-world attacker behavior.
An Interview with Steve Shattuck of GoTo
Q: What, if anything, has changed in terms of GoTo's or LogMeIn's approach to the channel in 2026?
The company has split into two tailored partner organizations focusing on the distinct needs of VARs, MSPs, GSIs, and tech alliances, with new programs (VAR first, then MSP, GSI, and Tech Alliances) and a stronger emphasis on co-branding, joint marketing, training, and ongoing support to drive growth and profitability for partners.
