  • Propaganda show now

This show use to provide good content.

    I don’t understand what happened.

It’s now, what I can only describe as propaganda, from Charles, is now longer insightful or useful. It’s a rambling of what feels like grandiosity & delusions that simply don’t exist in the real world.

I don’t know what happened, but I hope things eventually return to a level of sanity that useful information can be restored to this formerly good podcast.

Q: Would you be accepting of a general paragraph in your agreement that says, should there be an off-boarding event, it will be treated this way?
Yes, absolutely, and that would clarify expectations and facilitate negotiations.
The Ethics of MSP Agreements: Insights from an MSP Owner
Q: What are some of the things that you've started to see recently that concern you?
The weaponization of termination clauses to scare customers into renewing their contracts rather than letting them leave.
The Ethics of MSP Agreements: Insights from an MSP Owner
Q: Is there a distinction between your normal month-to-month managed services agreement and entering into a relationship zone for off-boarding?
Yes, a termination clause should benefit both sides and should not prevent the customer from leaving if necessary.
The Ethics of MSP Agreements: Insights from an MSP Owner
Q: So your customers, not exclusively private equity companies, correct? Just the dominant?
One of the paths we take is we also serve the portfolio companies that some of our private equity companies hold.
The Ethics of MSP Agreements: Insights from an MSP Owner
Q: Could you give us just a quick update for those out there not familiar with Impact? What is it that you and your awesome team do every day?
We are a managed IT service provider, a blended MSP, MSSP. We cannot be a good MSP without thinking about security, and vice versa.
