  • Lib slop

Critical of Trump but never of Israel. Typical liberal echo chamber. I naively thought this show might have some differing perspectives but alas your standard npr approved opinions

  • Calm

Michael is a breath of fresh air because of his calm demeanor. He doesn’t feel the need to scream and yell at his audience. He is fair and balanced unlike the podcaster acolytes of our politicians

  • Old fan returns a decade later

I grew up listening to Michael Medved in the back of my parent’s station wagon when he would fill in for Rush Limbaugh in the 90s. Michael then became a staple of my teenage years as my political opinions were starting to solidify around a conservative worldview.

I regarded him as one of the most intellectually formidable thinkers of the golden era of conservative talk radio at that time, and his honesty and commitment to following his convictions really stuck with me.

    Fast forward to today.... more

  • What happened to you Michael?

I use to tune into all 3 hrs of your formerly national and local radio program , looking forward to the interviews and debate with callers who disagreed with you. This format really helped me better articulate and discuss my own conservative viewpoint with others in a way which fostered substantial interactions with others.

Since President Trumps 2016 Presidency you have bee unable to see things objectively with Trump . I’m not in 100% agreement with him but I did vote for him three times feel... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 1,554 - Is Trump serious about a third term?
Q: What is the most likely strategy that they use to try to... They're not going to try to repeal the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution, are they?
It's unlikely they'll repeal the 22nd Amendment, but Trump may simply announce his candidacy and dare opposition to stop him.
Ep. 1,554 - Is Trump serious about a third term?
Q: Is there anything serious or real about this talk about him being, as you say in Atlantic Magazine, president for life?
While initially dismissed, the ongoing discussions around Trump's potential run have gained traction, indicating a possible willingness to challenge constitutional limitations.
Ep. 1,552 - Reagan vs. Trump on tariffs
Q: In what way has Congress abdicated its responsibilities?
Carl Hulse explains that Congress has allowed the president to have unchecked authority over tariffs, which is constitutionally a congressional duty.
Ep. 1,550 - Prof. John Yoo
Q: What is the purpose behind the U.S. attacks on drug vessels?
The real goal may be to pressure Venezuela and force a change in regime rather than just interdicting drug traffic.
Ep. 1,550 - Prof. John Yoo
Q: Why is the line between law enforcement and military action important?
The line is crucial because it determines how drug cartels are dealt with; using military force against them raises legal issues under the Bill of Rights.
