  • VDH offers such an intellectually honest perspective on the news.

As an extreme centrist, I appreciate how much thought goes into Victor’s arguments and statements, and it’s so refreshing to hear his perspective. I listen to every episode!

  • “In Their Own Words “

Either Fowler needs to shut the hell up or change the name of the show. Even more grating is that he acknowledges his long winded approach on EVERY episode, yet never changes the behavior. Victor, please be the boss and either can him or coach him.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Victor Davis Hanson: Is Britain Experiencing Its Right-Wing George Floyd Moment?
Q: What are your thoughts on Iran's negotiations and the broader regional dynamic?
Victor outlines a pattern of repeated stalemates, skepticism toward neutral hosts, and a belief that leverage and deterrence must be maintained, warning that missteps could embolden adversaries and reshape regional alignments.
Victor Davis Hanson: Raymond Ibrahim, Islamic History, and Western Decline
Q: What is the common theme in your work over the last 15 to 20 years?
Raymond Ibrahim describes a consistent focus on Islam and its historical relationship with the West, tracing religious and cultural clashes from the early Islamic era to contemporary times, with emphasis on how historical memory shapes current attitudes toward Islam and the West.
Victor Davis Hanson: Iran Can’t Be Trusted, and Trump Turns the Tables on Kristen Welker
Q: What is your latest take on the Iran situation as of June 7th?
He argues that after numerous bombing cycles, Iran is losing money and capability while Gulf oil flows are being protected, suggesting a strategic window where sanctions and pressure can push toward a settlement or collapse, though the timing is uncertain and dependent on escalating actions.
Victor Davis Hanson: Tulsi Gabbard’s Legacy in Review
Q: What is your take on the actual fund or the political ramifications surrounding the $1.8 billion January 6 slush fund?
Victor argues the fund is misused politically, suggesting it reallocates government resources in ways that could backfire on proponents, and emphasizes the broader political narrative around accountability and budgeting rather than the specifics of the fund itself.
Victor Davis Hanson: Trump’s Leverage Over Xi Jinping EXPLAINED
Q: What sort of leverage could the United States have over China if it wanted to, for example, affect parity in education or trade?
The guest argues that the U.S. can leverage its open capitalist system, energy leadership, and advanced technology to pressure China, but cautions that it would require a combination of policy moves—economic, strategic, and alliance-driven—rather than a single tactic.
