  • More Duane Plz

Love the show. Need to release shows on a more consistent basis. Keep the weekend pod, make sure you’ve got one on Tuesday or Wednesday morning at the latest, and fill the gaps with DUANE! That format costs you nothing. Also, Duane should be the all-time backup QB here. Never ask Mark Davis or Schlicter again. Those guys are hard to listen to. DUANE, DUANE, DUANE! 🫡👏👏👏

Enjoy the topics and Hughs interview style. That said, most of this is Hugh interviewing other podcast hosts (echo chamber) and, notably, almost never interviewing anyone from across the aisle who might push back on Hugh.

  • Love Hewitt shows. Stop the substitutes!

Where are the Hugh Hewitt Shows? They are far superior to others, but they are not posted daily anymore. Three shows end of week are not timely.

  • Great show

But don't have Ben Domenech on so much. That could laugh his way through a house fire. Just random laughing for no reason.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is Nick Kristof’s blood libel this century’s Dreyfus Affair?
Q: What do you think about the Kristof piece compared to historical anti-Semitic episodes?
The panelists see it as a dangerously unfounded accusation with echoes of the Dreyfus Affair, signaling a broader problem of sensationalism in media and rising anti-Semitism.
Will President Trump open the Strait of Hormuz?
Q: How does the host suggest message consistency affects public support for foreign policy in this context?
He argues that repetitively communicating the same three to four points across multiple platforms is essential, because many audiences are not attentive policymakers and need clear, repeated messaging to understand and support the approach anyway.
The Alex Marlow Show - Iran Peace Proposal Details, EPA Admin Lee Zeldin Announces Massive Budget Cut
Q: Why is there concern about the salesmanship of the plan, and how might supporters better present it to the public?
Supporters should emphasize the concrete security benefits, the monitoring safeguards, and the potential to avoid wider conflict, while acknowledging political realities and offering a clear timeline and benchmarks for progress to win broader appeal.
The Alex Marlow Show - Iran Peace Proposal Details, EPA Admin Lee Zeldin Announces Massive Budget Cut
Q: Given the 48-hour window, what concrete incentives or enforcement mechanisms are proposed to ensure Iran adheres to the moratorium?
The plan relies on monitoring and the broader leverage of economic sanctions and the threat of renewed pressure if enrichment accelerates, with the 15-year horizon framed as a compromise that can be verified through UN and IAEA oversight, though there is skepticism about enforcement.
Governor Mills clears the way for antisemitic nutter Platner against Senator (Saint) Susan Collins
Q: If you were going to advise a super PAC not affiliated with Susan Collins, what kind of ad would you run?
The suggested ad would likely focus on neutralizing Platner's image by tying him to extremist labels and presenting Collins as a steady, moderate alternative, emphasizing economic arguments and his alleged anti-Semitic stances to mobilize Collins' base and sway independents.
