It's not easy keeping up with the news—especially when you're a parent. Mary Katharine Ham and Vic Matus know that well. And while they can't get your kids to school on time (and without ketchup in their hair—ask Mary Katharine about that one), they can break down the news you need to know. Put the kids to bed, pour yourself a drink, and join us twice a week for Getting Hammered.

Since discovering the gems known as MK and Vic a few months back, this has become the podcast I look forward to most every week! I have even gone back to the beginning to feed my addiction in the off days. They are just THAT good.
I have been listening for the last 18 months and greatly enjoy the show. MK and Vic are indeed moderately right and moderately reliable, adding an appropriate amount of levity and semi-seriousness. Keep up the great work. more
that used to be my favorite station, in addition to the Georgetown University station, WGTB. Yes, I am old, 77 now. Also, though I am a car guy, I wasn’t aware of the BMW gay pride link. I Googled and found that the gay stuff goes back at least four years. I subscribe to many car channels on YouTube, I’ll be commenting on many of those channels. IMHO BMW has gone astray with their styling, now I have more to criticize about the company.
Scrolling these reviews and I saw a few complaints about the casual conversation that usually opens the show. What??? That is my favorite part!!! I feel like some officemates sat down for a morning coffee break just to chat about their lives. It is so calming. Vic is really funny, as is MK, but I think I love her parenting tips more than anything. We need a book! more
Love MK, but you really have to get rid of Vic. His constant sexual innuendos are so cringe and off-putting. He is not worthy of MK’s smart analysis of issues. Please find a new partner!
