Normally is the podcast for normal people, by normal people. We’re going to limit the hysteria, tone down the crazy, and talk about what really matters. Mary Katharine Ham and Karol Markowicz have been in the political commentary world a long time. Both are known for being funny, and a bit irreverent, but also serious and thoughtful about the issues that are important to the country. Catch Normall... more

I’m conservative/libertarian and even voted for Trump, which is why this shift is so frustrating. This podcast now feels like a space where Trump can do no wrong, with little room for nuance or criticism. And the attacking of other conservatives, name calling and dismissing anyone who disagrees with “the right” is just gross behavior. It’s no longer a thoughtful discussion, it’s a MAGA echo chamber and only pushes one narrative.
Love this podcast and the points that the hosts make so well. Karol and Mary Katharine do a great job of outlining both sides and the ridiculousness of both sides when needed. Really appreciated the special episode after the White House Correspondents’ dinner in April 2026.
Great to hear normal people near DC (or one, at least). Thanks for focusing on real events and pointing out the Democrat hypocrisy.
I really love the hosts but this show has become more advertising than content.
Divide and conquer. Set people against each other by age if you can’t do it by class. I happen to be a Boomer, that is a real thing, men came home from the wars and got back to life, married and started families. These other things, Gen xyz, are just made up divisions that set people apart from each other.

Two veteran political commentators host a pragmatic, centrist-leaning show that covers U.S. politics, policy debates, and current events through a clear, accessible lens. Episodes blend sharp analysis with light humor, personal anecdotes, and civically minded conversations, often contrasting viewpoints while staying focused on real-world implications for everyday people. Listeners can expect a mix of policy critique, cultural commentary, and discussions about family life, adjacent to ongoing political news, with a reputation for balanced discourse and accessible takes. A notable strength is the hosts' ability to anchor debates in relatable, non-elite perspectives, making complex topics feel approachable for a broad audience. The show's appe... more
