Michael Dukes is a 3rd generation Alaskan and an underpaid radio talk host. He tackles the news of the day with dry wit and humor. As a Libertarian he eschews the same old US vs THEM and LEFT vs RIGHT dichotomy. He also covers things happening in the world of entertainment, sports, pop culture, technology and pretty much anything else shiny that happens to stray across his path. He can be heard da... more

I utilize this Michael Dukes podcast to stay current on all the Alaska politics and happenings. Many of the state legislatures call in to discuss their opinions on active topics. I leave the show informed and having a greater understanding of the working of our governmental processes.
So glad to get he podcast of this. Work out of cell range. Love to hear this show. Informative and on point. God bless you for this.
Not took bad a show ,if you like politics. Totally conservative ,but he listens to both sides. Which is what we need. Biggest gripe is when he can’t decide to answer Facebook comments or run his call in show. We get to listen to grunts subtle laughs , while he decides who to answer. Rude actually.
This man is the heartbeat of Alaska. We are fortunate to have such a steady and consistent person keeping us informed everyday. He works tirelessly for us. I am proud to share my home state with a man of Michael’s caliber (pun intended)!
Michael Dukes, as a libertarian, is in a position to politically agree/disagree with anyone on earth, and intelligent enough to learn from anyone. more
