  • Rating

Not took bad a show ,if you like politics. Totally conservative ,but he listens to both sides. Which is what we need. Biggest gripe is when he can’t decide to answer Facebook comments or run his call in show. We get to listen to grunts subtle laughs , while he decides who to answer. Rude actually.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wednesday 8/12/26 | Interior's Mike Prax | Candidate Shelley Hughes
Q: What sets you apart from other candidates for governor, and why should voters support you?
I bring proven experience, a record of delivering results, and a detailed plan that combines private investment, regulatory reform, and a constitutional approach to budgeting. I emphasize practical, long-term solutions over slogans and I am willing to engage directly with the public to build consensus and accountability.
Wednesday 7/29/26 | Gas Crisis to the Front | Rep Sarah Vance
Q: Walk me through what happened at the end of the last special session, and how we got here to this point of do nothing in the third special session.
Sarah describes a pattern where the Senate majority and some House members resisted moving a gas-line bill, conference committee secrecy undermined trust, and later strategic timing and political pressure led to paralysis in the third special session, with talk of blame-shifting rather than passing a clean bill.
Monday 7/6/26 | Headlines & Discussion | Candidate Harmony Thomaszewski
Q: What motivates you to run for the State House, and what distinguishes you from your opponent?
Harmony explains her hands-on experience in the energy sector, her community work, and her focus on affordable energy, stating that she and her husband share Republican values but have different communication and organizational styles; she emphasizes working with others to achieve practical policy outcomes.
Monday 6/15/26 | AKLNG Deal? Headlines | Candidate Heath Smith
Q: As a Republican candidate, would you make a deal with the bipartisan coalition in the Senate or stick with your party to try to regain the majority?
Smith says he would work with others when it leads to good outcomes but would not cross the aisle routinely, emphasizing a preference for his party while acknowledging some cross-party collaboration could be necessary for results.
Wednesday 6/17/26 | Rep Frank Thomaszewski | Candidate Michael Bowles
Q: What is the biggest issue facing Alaska's legislature this year besides the gas line?
Beyond the gas line, issues like the permanent fund dividend, defined benefits pensions, education funding, and a long-term fiscal plan dominate. Bowles emphasizes budgetary reform, accountability in schools, and seeking a sustainable fiscal strategy that reduces long-term liabilities.
