Great presenters with obvious chemistry - manages to have a revolving cast of contributors without compromising on identity. Recent format shift away from the straight ahead news, then questions format has been managed really well and made for a much more interesting podcast. Reviews roundups and deeper dives are particularly well done, and the hall of fame is a fantastic dive into one band. Great complement to the magazine.

It's hard to find a good metal podcast that isn't a couple of abrasive American guys who make misogynistic jokes (not calling anyone in particular out here, it's just a recurring theme). This one's excellent, with enthusiastic, knowledgeable hosts. It's an excellent companion to the magazine, which I also love.
Haven’t listened in over a year but downloaded the last couple to see ( as I hoped ) if it got better. Back in the day, with Gill and Beez , this show was unmissable. Gill and Hill, then Hill, Merle and Amit were good too but this show has seriously gone down the pipe. El is a fine writer, but as a podcaster she is rotten. She’s not the worst ( that “Honour” goes to Ryan from That’s not Metal) but still pretty rank. Even Stephen Hill and Jon Seltzer can’t save this show. The audio is awful as ... more
