What once was a great pod, now looks a shadow of itself.
Three wise and fabulous women, looking around the Westminster Village and scraping the barrel.
Little understanding of the wider world and minimal focus on big issues that matter to real people. This is now a pod of gossip and he said / she said in the village.
The endless talk of Starmer’s back office is tedious and this is the third pod on the trot I’ve switched off from. Davison has become a party line Tory, rather than the astute f... more
Insightful, intelligent and an interesting balance of views. I really enjoy political podcasts where members of different parties can agreeably disagree. Beth brings balance, wit and a great look behind the scenes of politics and Harriet and Ruth are both equally intelligent and articulate women. I may not agree with everything they each say, but surely that’s the whole point. Keep up the great work.
Couldn’t care less about the Starmer/Mandelson drama, I’ll be back probably when you move onto another topic
Change it - hate speech not welcome
Used to love this podcast. Unfortunately they have now got so focussed on bashing Starmer they are missing the actual news. Last week it was all about Mandelson (albeit nothing new on this since September) in the middle of the second week of the Iran war. With a promise to discuss the war this week. Even on the domestic f... more

A politically sharp, faithlessly balanced trio hosts thoughtful conversations about Westminster power, media narratives, and policy decisions. Episodes consistently dissect who truly holds influence, what politicians are saying behind the scenes, and how media coverage shapes public perception, often with a mix of insider context, rigorous analysis, and witty banter. Notable is the recurring dynamic among three prominent female voices, each with distinct vantage points, delivering candid takes on leadership, governance, and current events. This show tends to attract listeners who want practical political insight, behind-the-scenes context, and lively debate about UK politics and policy, with occasional international angles and cultural comm... more
