A measured and empathetic interview of a person who, it has to be said, has been pretty well hounded by the likes of The Daily Mail since she had the ‘ audacity’ as a woman and what’s more a working class woman, to seek and achieve high office. I for one would see it as a loss to this country if she does step down.

I used to enjoy this podcast and tuned in every new episode but I haven’t listened for a while now as I feel it’s changed . I think the main thing is I miss Jess Phillips. Nothing against the others it just isn’t the same for me
I was really enjoying the podcast until it became obvious that they’re in the Westminster bubble and have no idea what the rest of the country thinks. Even Farage’s appalling landslide hadn’t woken them up. As for Harriet saying tow the line and shut up, good god how ignorant and insulting. What Labour is doing may well be poorly communicated but its also not Labour, its Tory. Kick the poor, the ill, the hungry. And yes, people do want to work but where are the jobs?
