  • Proof that the Westminster bubble is getting worse

I was really enjoying the podcast until it became obvious that they’re in the Westminster bubble and have no idea what the rest of the country thinks. Even Farage’s appalling landslide hadn’t woken them up. As for Harriet saying tow the line and shut up, good god how ignorant and insulting. What Labour is doing may well be poorly communicated but its also not Labour, its Tory. Kick the poor, the ill, the hungry. And yes, people do want to work but where are the jobs? Where i am there are 10,200 ... more

  • Had enough

Used to really like this podcast but HH is so tribal it spoils the discussions. Telling back bench labour mps to shut up and be grateful is way off the mark. She should leave London for a bit and visit Bassettlaw and try listening.

Q: What's your assessment then of the first, we're now coming up to a year of the Stammer government? What would you mark the government out of 10, and why would you give them that rating?
I would give them a solid seven, let's put it that way, because they have done, and this is, I think, where they've had a hard inheritance.
