  • Terrible interviewers

I believe these are the worst interviewers I have ever heard in my life. It’s like they’re trying to destroy the interview.

They continually refer to offhand jokes that have nothing connected to what the interviewee is talking about. They start talking to eachother and leaving the guest hanging. Its not funny and its so cringe to go into joke bits like that with a guest just on the line.

  • Are we there yet?

Good listen with knowledgeable hosts but skipping the first 10 minutes because it’s all housekeeping and background info is annoying. Don’t carpet bomb the beginning with all this because if I haven’t been listening already I would have turned it off 6 minutes in

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

From Swamp Thing to Dinosaurs: A Deep Dive with Stephen R. Bissette
Q: What led you to Tyrant, and what's the current status of that project?
Tyrant began as a 1990s project; a recent Kickstarter led by Chris Stevens and Jim Rugg reignited interest, and I'm exploring reprinting or continuing Tyrant given the strong audience response and renewed demand.
From Swamp Thing to Dinosaurs: A Deep Dive with Stephen R. Bissette
Q: Can you explain the differences between Marvel Method and full script, and how that affected your page design?
Marvel Method delegated more layout decisions to the artist, making page design and pacing crucial to storytelling, whereas full script gave writers more control over dialog and captions. Both approaches shaped how I guided readers' eyes across the page.
From Swamp Thing to Dinosaurs: A Deep Dive with Stephen R. Bissette
Q: How did your long-running work on Swamp Thing come about and how did Alan Moore end up on the book?
The founders of Swamp Thing, Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, laid groundwork; after Tom Yates and John Totleben joined, Len brought Alan Moore into the fold, leading to a reinvention that shifted the character from a tragic man in a monster suit to a plant elemental with a new backstory.
In Conversation with Frank Miller - Legends, Returns, and Pushing the Wall
Q: How did Push the Wall come together, and what was the genesis of the book?
Frank explains that the project was driven by a partner who had interest in presenting the companion piece to a documentary, with a strong emphasis on organizing and guiding the process through team collaboration.
Eddie Wilson Talks with Karen Rello of Lehigh Valley Comic Con
Q: What would you say makes Lehigh Valley Comic Convention stand apart from other shows?
Karen explains that the key differentiator is their long-standing, family-owned operation, strong local roots, and the two-day format that supports a larger vendor and guest lineup, plus a welcoming community that consistently draws attendees from nearby states and beyond.
