  • Refreshing!

I enjoy the Life Challenges podcast:

    1. Because it brings fresh insight into issues that I don’t hear anywhere else in social media, even among pro-life broadcast sources.

    2. I find the content positive and nuanced

    3. The trio who carry on the discussion bring different insights from each other and are a great match

    4. They cover a wide variety of topics, and the perspective is Biblical, not political, connected to Christ, not bland text proofs.

  • Thought provoking!

There are many issues in the world today. This podcast goes through some hot topics, but only in 30 minutes increments. Obviously, some topics need more time and that will get another episode in the future.

The group that moderates Life Challenges have an easy flow about them. Great mix of people!

I’m learning a great deal and looking inside myself more regarding these topics and where I stand on the issues.

    I highly recommend this one!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Outlawed or Unrestricted: What Really Changes
Q: Would outlawing abortion automatically create a culture that values life?
The panel argues that laws alone won't produce a lasting culture of life; transformation of the heart, alongside patient, wise witness, is essential, and the end goal remains sharing the gospel and loving neighbor even if legal changes occur.
Vaccines, Your Body, and Loving Your Neighbor with Dr. Rob Balza
Q: What should people consider ethically when vaccines involve historical cell lines tied to abortion?
People should weigh timing, proximity, knowledge, and intent; many cell lines have long histories and reduce the need for new fetal tissue; following conscience while considering public health and neighbor protection is important.
Vaccines, Your Body, and Loving Your Neighbor with Dr. Rob Balza
Q: How can Christians think faithfully about vaccines in light of loving our neighbor and caring for the vulnerable?
From a Christian perspective, humans have intrinsic value, and vaccine choices should balance personal protection with protecting others, especially the vulnerable, through responsible stewardship and vocation in science and healthcare.
Vaccines, Your Body, and Loving Your Neighbor with Dr. Rob Balza
Q: In the past few years, vaccines have been front page news. What do you see as the biggest lessons learned from the COVID era vaccination efforts?
Vaccines played a crucial role in reducing severe disease and death; new technologies like mRNA accelerated development; but public trust requires careful communication and transparency about risks, benefits, and evolving science.
Reviving Twenty-Somethings in the Church with Pastor Clark Schultz and Stella Zarling
Q: What are the main challenges twenty-somethings face today in the church?
The guests describe pressure from secular culture, navigating college and career transitions, and balancing independence with faith, all while seeking support and belonging in the church.
