Great pod for La good news and reviews. I e got a ton of recommendations from this pod and it covers the la food scene really well!
Ok, I’ll bite.
Episode chef’s kiss: giving Seline its flowers.
Episode big miss: dissing the mustard leaf course, which is objectively incorrect.
Life chef’s kiss: Father Sal making it official.
Life big miss: Watching yourself run a red light on repeat.
(In case I need to say this, this podcast is awesome and everybody should listen to it.)
A food podcast where the host knows what they are talking about. It’s not dumbed down, but is still inclusive. It’s of the moment and hyper-local, but keeps the bigger picture top of mind. Luca and Sal do the work so I trust every review….but I refuse to call Sal “Father”. That’s weird. Also cut my pizza, I don’t work there.
I don’t actually live in LA (OC girl here), and I’m not actually able visit most of the restaurants Luca highlights. Great show. In the most recent episode referring to the lady who leaves reviews calling people scams, you compared her to trump which is pretty intense because he’s a r*pist pdfile. Even though she sucks I think saving that comparison for someone actually truly disgusting would be good. I love when yall are hyperbolic, and that reviewer sucks, but reserve that comparison for someone truly heinous. Love yall
