I was hoping this would be a discussion about the show - unfortunately it's like listening to two people who half watch the episodes. I don't like the interviews with the cast, spoiler alert! Back to Bald Move.
These two people have no idea how host an entertaining or interesting podcast for this awesome show!!! And that whinny voice of marisa is like listening to fingernails on a chalk board!!!
Phil needs to get lessons in podcasting. You can't host a podcast and say uh and umm after every thing you say! If you can fix that, the show would almost be tolerable. It sounds like you hardly paid attention to what you watched and are not really engaged with the material. Marisa has it more together and should be leading the show.
I loved the chemistry between the hosts on The Following show, I can't make it 5 minutes into this one. Rambling without saying much of anything. Yes, I imagine when Bullet said she was a girl that did clear things up.
Just listened to the first 12 minutes of Season 3 Ep 1 podcast. No insight whatsoever. I kind of feel like I'm listening to 2 not-so-bright high schoolers being forced to discuss a book in english class. They clearly aren't into the show or their jobs. Intro radio noise/sound bite was also horrible. Seemed more like a pardoy of radio amateur hour.
I just want to tell you that the reason that Ray Seward is in jail is because he killed his wife. I don't think she was a hooker.
The Killing is a great tv show on AMC. I stayed up until 3:30am watching season 1 on Netflix. The Afterbuzz TV show could use a bit more discussion and insight into the plot and characters. I have watched other Afterbuzz shows and I was expecting the same quality.
I have to agree with scottadmin2. I usually enjoy these Afterbuzz Aftershows, so I downloaded the one for The Killing, thinking this is a meaty show that should provoke some interesting insight. Well, that's not what we got from these hosts. Maybe I dozed off and missed it, but I think they didn't even discuss one of the most interesting plot lines that was laid out in the first episode of season 3--i.e., the former relationship between Linden and her former partner, now her boss. Joe Braswell d... more
I was hoping to listen to some insightful thoughts, ala Bald Move podcasts, but this is more like a recap without analysis. Is fine but not what I was hoping for.
Disappointed by this podcast. This show deserves to be dissected like Hannibal or The Following. Please add another person or two to get the conversation flowing.
So only 4 out of 13 episodes? You must love the show?
I love the incite but it's running 2-3 episodes behind.
