The funny thing is that I know Josh and Craig will never read negative reviews because they seem to prefer stroking their egos rather than focusing on what could make the podcast better. I guess it makes sense as creative type. I remember Josh saying never read negative reviews but if that’s true, how can one improve? This emperor has no clothes.
The podcast has a strong foundation with great behind-the-scenes insights from Craig and Josh. However, the production choices and structure are cu... more
This podcast isn’t very well planned. They put listener letters at the beginning and end that I always skip. Josh’s wife asks psychology questions to Josh and Craig which often go off topic from the show. And then Josh and Craig talk about the show with no structure or order. That’s the entire podcast. Not much thoughtfulness and no good segments. The good news is, Craig is the creator so he is actually giving some juicy insights! Josh was in every episode as the lead so he has some good stories... more
This is a delightful show and I appreciate the conversations. It’s the right amount of off the cuff story telling, insight, and critique. I don’t want it to be like the Office Ladies podcast. Don’t change.
I really wanted to love this pod. HIMYM is my fave show. But this pod really does not deep-dive the way I enjoy, like other rewatch pods do. I have been hanging on in hopes it will turn around, but looks like it may not. Occasionally a few fun facts or stories are tossed in, but overall they spend more time discussing philosophical or other themes. Personally not as engaging for me.
I do enjoy Craig’s stories and feedback, but to be honest, Josh is very hard to listen to. He just seems like a r... more
But I’m docking one star for the lengthy airbnb ads. They are too long and tedious
