What a dynamic 3 - this is a great listen - right level of granular review and analysis of the narrative and levity….!
Have returned for The Testaments coverage now!
I thought this was the official podcast for the show and listened confused as to why something commissioned by Hulu could be so bad, with such woeful takes lack of understanding and mind bumbling boring hosts. Then I found out it’s not. If you want to be bored to death listen to this. Living in Gilead might be more fun.
Really great podcasters and in-depth discussions on all elements of the show.
Shout out for this great podcast. Looking forward to going through this ride with 3 brilliant hosts!
If you’re going to add politics to your commentary of a tv show then at least inform yourselves before speaking publicly. Gilead is clearly a metaphor for modern day Islamic republic of Iran. To say that the USA is bombing them for no reason shows that you don’t understand the basics of what you are reviewing. Do better. You are causing harm.

Episodes weave character-focused breakdowns (Daisy, Agnes, Becca, Lydia) with book-versus-show comparisons, voiceover choices, and interviews or behind-the-scenes insights. The show's conversations hybridize literary adaptation, TV storytelling, and current affairs, making it a thoughtful pick for listeners who want both narrative depth and broader societal context.
