If you go back and listen to early episodes of this podcast, they are funny and super warm hearted. But lately content has not been good. The tone of the show has gotten too mean and preachy for me to listen to as a lighthearted escape. I actually had to stop listening because some episodes were giving me anxiety. They have some wild takes, absolutely tearing down certain characters while giving others with atrocious behavior a complete pass (like Jasmine because she’s “entertaining”…gross). Not... more
Literally why do their announcements go on wayyyy longer than any other podcast. We all know what shows yall are covering from seeing the feed we dont need more information than that.
I could listen to Mattie & Poodle all day. They make any mundane situation more tolerable. They’re always there with something hilariously catty or deeply comforting to say. Also, I learn about so many new hot men through them. I only wish every podcast was twice as long.
Love listening to the Queens recap these trash tv shows that I love so much..Love the reads they give to these cast members! Gives me such joy! I must be nuts!
Do you guys even care anymore? Why complain about having to record when this is exactly what you wanted. So out of touch these days. Unsubscribed from Patreon after all these years.

Two Southern LGBTQ hosts deliver sharp, humorous recaps of popular reality dating and lifestyle shows, blending candid commentary with pop culture tangents, personal anecdotes, and therapy-informed takes. Episodes orbit around relationship dynamics, family and cultural tensions, and the entertainment machine behind long-running franchises, all delivered with quick banter, affectionate ribbing, and unapologetic authenticity. The show stands out for its dynamic host chemistry, inclusive humor, and willingness to tackle heavier topics like trauma, therapy, and ethics in reality TV without losing the fun or fan engagement.
