A fantastic podcast brilliantly written, narrated and produced by Andy. This podcast was delivered with great respect and dignity to Stephanie and those around her and portrayed her story well.
I was born in the mid 80’s and i hadn’t heard of this case until Andy’s podcast.
Thank you for bringing it to our attention, spreading awareness and enabling Stephanie’s legacy to live on.
Incredible.
I lived a few miles from where Stephanie lived and worked . I remember the case as a child. So I’ve found this fascinating. Think I may have been at school with Andy Whittaker too (Lol)
But I love a good podcast and have found this to be well written and presented .
A deep dive into a sad story. Well done, I had to listen to the whole story in two days.
If you’re a ‘fan’ of true crime, you’ve got to give this one a listen. I thought I’d try the first episode and ended up listening to all of them, straight. Astonishing story, the first time I learned of it was here. How I missed it on the news 30 years ago I have no idea. I’m really looking forward to the next part (a follow-up series has been promised, to follow Michael Sams’ parole hearing in March 2023.)
I really enjoyed the first season. In contrast season 2 seemed like it was capitalising on the first with really no new information.
Tapping into someone else’s pain by stretching out another season seemed like a vulture picking at a carcass.
The way the presenter acted surprised by a PTSD diagnosis was ridiculous. Why wouldn’t a rape and kidnap victim be suffering PTSD?
Season 2 was unnecessary.
