  • Great content

Jason, you do such a great job of discussing this sport in terms that the average fan can understand. Your latest episode wagering color with Tristan was very educational. Please continue to throw those examples into your shows going forward. Keep up the great work.

  • Honest and enjoyable

As a fellow Washingtonian I totally get his love and nostalgia for NW racing. I didn’t just imagine going to Playfair in Spokane, Sun Downs in the TriCities, Les Bois in Boise, or Longacres, he honors the legacy of these tracks. He interviews so many diverse people, and I love the tidbits about his life and interests. Keep up the good work, Jason!

Jason Beem Horse Racing Podcast 3/18/26--Guest Kaitlin Benson
Q: How are you doing after your maternity leave and return to racing coverage?
I'm doing well and focused on getting back into the swing of things, balancing motherhood with racing by easing back in and taking time to acclimate to the busy schedule across Turfway, Churchill, and Colonial.
Jason Beem Horse Racing Podcast 3/17/26--Guest Pablo Morales
Q: How did your career path begin and what were some early challenges?
I started in Peru, moved to the U.S. chasing opportunities, broke into racing in Miami and New York, and later found a home base in Tampa; it was a rapid ascent with a lot of learning on turf and synthetic surfaces.
Jason Beem Horse Racing Podcast 3/17/26--Guest Pablo Morales
Q: What were the factors that pushed you toward retirement besides the professional aspect?
The desire to be more present with my family, to live closer to them, and to refocus my life around faith and a different daily routine rather than the constant travel and schedules of riding.
Jason Beem Horse Racing Podcast 3/17/26--Guest Pablo Morales
Q: When did you start thinking you might be ready to move on from this chapter of your career?
I began weighing it over a couple of years, feeling the hunger fade and recognizing the mental and physical toll after so many years at the top; ultimately I decided to talk with my wife and family and pursue a life outside racing.
Jason Beem Horse Racing Podcast 3/10/26--Guest Travis Stone
Q: Very happy to welcome back Travis Stone to the show. Travis, how are you?
Doing well. How are you?
