I have been listening to Lawrence’s podcast for a couple months now and I absolutely love it! If you’re a lover of all things Italian Renaissance this is the one to listen to. I learned quite a few things here that I did not know about prior to listening. Michelangelo’s Bacchus is also one of my favourite sculptures of all time so I was delighted to hear a deep dive on that work. Thank you Lawrence for your insight!
I discovered this podcast last week and I’m totally hooked! Lawrence provides solid insights into this fascinating period and does a phenomenal job guiding the listener through the complex layers of each topic in an entertaining and detailed way that allows you to easily retain the information! I highly recommend giving it a listen.
Great work! Italian renaissance is fascinating and the podcast manages to be quite informative while entertaining. I’m listening to all the back catalog during my stay in Florence and I love it.
Planning a trip to Italy and wanted to know more about art and history. This podcast is the key - I even changed some plans because I want to see the art highlighted. I can’t wait for season 3!
Myself being an uneducated amateur art enthusiast I found this this a great listen. I think Lawrence is going to have an amazing future in art education. I also think like the importance on the emphasis on not only the art itself but how it was intended to be viewed by the artist, something I feel is often overlooked. more
