I like that’s she’s doing this sleep series but it’s very hard to find the numbered episodes when she doesn’t number them anywhere to find? So how would I find episode 3 when we are on episode 143? Help please.
Also, if you really want help- try Martin Reed, the Insomnia Coach. Martha just gave me anxiety and had me convinced I needed to do a bunch of expensive tests but Martin assures you that you can get sleep again and helps retrain the brain.
This podcast can help you find the route cause of insomnia and it’s probably something doctors have never thought to explore. Portia Thomson
I loved the interview with Dr. Patel and how we must breath to sleep better. So many people breath shallow and after listen I’ll focus on the techniques offered.
As an insomniac, I enjoy listening when I can’t sleep. Very informative and gives me confidence and a sense of peace that I can overcome insomnia. I load many episodes in my queue in hopes that I’ll eventually fall asleep, which I do. However, I am awaken every time by the music at the end of each episode which doesn’t fit the tone at all. Everything else has been great and I enjoy listening otherwise!

Across recent episodes, the discussion centers on underlying physiological and psychological drivers—stress and cortisol, gut and liver health, neurotransmitter balance, and lab-based testing—to tailor personalized strategies for falling asleep, staying asleep, and reducing dependence on sleep aids. The host favors diagnostic clarity, foundational health stabilization, and gradual, physician-aligned taper plans when medications are involved. A standout theme is the emphasis on addressing hidden stressors and biochemical imbalances before resorting to traditional hacks or supplements, making the approach holistic... more
