    I listen to this podcast every week and it’s a great way for us immigration attorneys who do not handle removal cases to stay on top of all important court decisions. The advise on other topics such as practice management is also great!

I don't use it on client matters too much, primarily for personal research. I always ask for permission if it involves client information.

Q: What are you advising employers who are going to be letting people go?
Employers do have the obligation to withdraw H-1Bs immediately upon the termination of employment to avoid possible back-wage claims by the employee. It's reasonable to wait a 60-day period to withdraw the H-1B to mitigate NTA triggers.

Q: Could you share how it started coming on your radar, and the newest developments that you've seen?
There are definitely period of authorized stay NTAs, but in many cases, they're not too. They're NTAs on people who have filed transfers within their grace period, H1B transfers within their grace period.

I have to be flexible; some days are focused on business development or operations, while other days are dedicated to client management.
