  • Veering off

I’ve been listening to 100.9 FM based out of Midland for the better part of 5 years, of which Huge has a show. But of recent the majority of content when I tune in has been about Ferris State University. Today it was about some guy and the AI program there 🤔. Don’t really care to hear about that on a sports program, at all. Not sure if he is compensated in some capacity by the school? And what is with all the political leanings that are espoused throughout as well? It’s a sports radio station… ... more

  • Too many “hot takes”, not enough true insight

Huge has decent guests on his show, but he doesn’t bring much to the table himself. He throws out a lot of hot takes - opinions from left field with no factual support. If you want real insight on Michigan-based sports, listen to 96.1 The Ticket on your ride to work in the morning, not your ride home in the afternoon.

  • Excellent show

Been listening to Bill, aka Huge, for as long as I can remember. His guests on the show for the Detroit pro teams and colleges throughout Michigan are amazing from UM, MSU, Central, Western, Ferris, Hope etc. Keep up the good work Bill!

  • Political hack

This guy just refuses to cover sports. It’s his political opinions every hour. Would love show if he just covered sports.

  • Bad

Host’s voice is obnoxious, as are his takes on many things. Plenty of other sports talk shows with more bearable hosts.

The Huge Show - U of M Interview - Clayton Sayfie 07-02-26
Q: What's the likelihood of Mike Boynton Jr. getting the full-time role soon?

The Huge Show - U of M Interview - Clayton Sayfie 07-02-26
Q: Did Michigan have to up the NIL money to keep any of these guys here after Dusty announced he was leaving for Dallas?
Sayfie indicates it's plausible and likely happening in some form, noting that fundraising is harder with an interim coach, but programs often respond with targeted NIL enhancements to keep key players.
The Huge Show - U of M Interview - Clayton Sayfie 07-02-26
Q: Was there behind the scenes, Clayton, a threat of losing some of what Dusty May had built up?
Clayton explains that while there was potential risk, the situation involved multiple moving parts including transfers, the interim coaching scenario, and strategic NIL efforts to retain players, with some players deciding to stay due to the combination of leadership and opportunities.

Q: How might Dusty May's move to Dallas affect Michigan's staff now and in the near future?
Staff moves are uncertain and will depend on the stability of the head coach position; Michigan would likely be cautious about making premature offers until the coaching situation is clearer.
