  • Insightful, Clearly Presented

I’ve been intrigued by the Ayurvedic perspective for a few years now, but it seemed too complex and overwhelming to fully embrace and shift into being raised and steeped daily in Western culture. Then, lo and behold, I heard Dr. Singh’s interview on the Good Life Project podcast in December, and I was hooked. She did such a beautiful job explaining the principles, and made it seem like it is absolutely possible to begin transitioning into an Ayurveda-focused lifestyle. I immediately started list... more

Summer Reset [replay]: Sleep Science: How to Have Better Quality Sleep, Sex, and Energy with Dr. Michael Breus
Q: The host asks what the three everyday habits are that sabotage sleep.
The guest outlines five steps with concise daily actions: wake up at one consistent time (preferably aligned with chronotype), stop caffeine by 2 p.m. and hydrate before caffeinating, and address alcohol timing to minimize sleep disruption; add regular exercise with a four-hour buffer before bed, and implement a morning routine with breaths, hydration, and sunshine.
Am I Doing It Wrong? — Mood Series Q&A on Anxiety, Answered.
Q: I felt genuine sadness and heaviness, is that good or bad for my healing process?
Feeling sadness indicates the emotional system is re-engaging; let the feeling move through you (cry, write, walk, dance) and don't numb it with scrolling. This is a sign of healing, not a setback.
Am I Doing It Wrong? — Mood Series Q&A on Anxiety, Answered.
Q: Breathing exercises aren't going to fix what's wrong with the world. Is this really useful or just a bandaid?
Breathing helps you increase your capacity to act on what's wrong and prevent burnout, especially for Pitta types; the goal is sustainable regulation rather than curing external circumstances.
Am I Doing It Wrong? — Mood Series Q&A on Anxiety, Answered.
Q: The anchor works, I feel calm for a while, but anxiety returns after 20 minutes. Am I doing it wrong?
You're not starting from zero; the tools are regulation strategies, not cures. Anxiety in Vata can come in waves, and the goal is faster recovery, not elimination, so early use of the protocol may prevent larger spikes.
Why Mindset Work Doesn't Work Until You Do This First with Béa Albina
Q: What exactly is emotional outsourcing?
Emotional outsourcing is when we chronically and habitually source our sense of the three vital human needs, safety, belonging and worth, from everyone and everything outside of ourselves, instead of from within at a great cost to self.
