  • Love this show

I laugh so hard it is an effort not to crash my car. This show is the best. I love the pomp and pretension. The tongue in cheek questions. The insane posturing. The host is a genius. Thank you.

  • Beautiful content

The conversation with Sabina Belli particularly left me feeling deeply optimistic about what the future can do and feel with what we have. It’s actually kind of brilliant how these conversations about luxury and abundance may be “exclusive by design” on one level but on another, deeper level are totally inclusive, if only for the fact that they invite anyone in any situation to (re)value their own intangible gifts that maybe they lost sight of, but will always possess. Never change, GG!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Il San Pietro di Positano Owner: Vito Cinque – Family, Farm to Table, & the Art of Making the Complex Look Simple
Q: What makes the general manager role exceptional at Il San Pietro?
An exceptional GM needs patience, natural people skills, a love for every aspect of life, and an ability to read and align with staff and guests; the GM should be invested in the place and culture, not just the job.
Il San Pietro di Positano Owner: Vito Cinque – Family, Farm to Table, & the Art of Making the Complex Look Simple
Q: Tell us about the origins of Il San Pietro and how the hotel came to be.
The hotel was born from the uncle Carlino's dream, starting with Miramare after WWII and expanding into San Pietro, with construction beginning in 1962 and opening in 1970; the work was done with a focus on authenticity, local craft, and a belief in doing things right rather than cutting corners.
Explora Journeys President: Anna Nash – The Ocean State of Mind, Redefining Luxury Travel, & Why Time Is the Ultimate Currency
Q: Can you tell us more about Explora, your role as the president, and what you're trying to achieve with this very cool business?
Anna explains Explora Journeys sits in a category of one as the ultra-luxury lifestyle brand of MSC, built on family ownership and a vision to redefine ocean travel with a hotel-like hospitality experience at sea. She highlights the brand's pillars—service, cuisine, and well-being—and discusses the fleet expansion, guest-centric itineraries, and the balance between destination variety and ship experience.
Comedian, Actor, & Impressionist: Matt Friend – Finding Your Voice, Reading the Room, & Why Laughter Is the Last Honest Thing
Q: What do you think has changed in the industry and what are you trying to save and hold on to?
There is a shift toward more unserious, eclectic storytelling and a desire to maintain elegance and class on stage while keeping the humor accessible to a wide audience; the goal is to preserve a certain old-school vibe of comedy while embracing modern platforms.
Comedian, Actor, & Impressionist: Matt Friend – Finding Your Voice, Reading the Room, & Why Laughter Is the Last Honest Thing
Q: So that being said, would you say that the comedy is the language for you to get a message across or is it the final product? Are you trying to get laughter or a change in perspective?
Comedy is primarily a vehicle for laughter and connection, though the show includes political and social observations; the aim is broad appeal and to make people think while enjoying themselves.
