  • You don’t have to be so mean and hateful to others, she scares me

I am a child free and single woman. I am not a pick me lol. I think it’s important to have our own representation. But Angela is not it. She is mean and nasty to people. If I was a guest I would be very cautious about coming on, if you make her mad, she’ll completely desecrate you online. And brands do you really want someone you behaves like this online to rep your products? Depending on the person being interviewed she seems to lose interest fast. She doesn’t ask thoughtful questions. And she ... more

  • I found her

I found Angela on Social Media yelling at someone trying to be a member of the child free group because their child doesn’t live at home anymore and I love her videos and now her podcast. When Al your friends have kids, it can be isolating. I found Angela to not only relatable but to be hysterical. She captures the most ridiculous real life stereotypes and makes me feel normal!

  • Sad Step Backwards in Feminism

Framing chronic loneliness as “empowerment” to young women is very sad. What is the point of life without immediate family? Consumerism? Traveling to others’ homes for the holidays, sitting alone, and then returning to an empty house? Who takes care of you in sickness or old age? The marriage vow/contract (and children) ensures that someone will take care of you. This podcast selfishly glorifies a single, child-free life to impressionable young women without exposing them to these realities. Ins... more

  • Truly empowering, inspiring and helpful

Without making it a large part of my identity, I do happen to be both single and child free and have found spaces with other women on similar paths with similar values to be empowering and uplifting. This is one of those spaces. So grateful I found it. AND Angela is funny, easy to listen to and feel with. Like a friend.
