Why Adrian Houser, Tyler Mahle were happy to choose San Francisco
Q: When you look at last season, what you were able to do when you were on the mound, what does that tell you about maybe what's left in the tank here?
I've just had some bad luck with injuries, but I feel really good now and hopefully I'm on the other side of it.
Why Tony Vitello’s Tennessee rant caught the attention of fans
Q: What's your relationship with Tony Vitello?
I played against his teams in college, and now I look forward to learning from him since he understands his players' needs.
Why Tony Vitello’s Tennessee rant caught the attention of fans
Q: How do you feel about the transition to the bullpen?
Initially, it was an adjustment, but I've really enjoyed it as it gives me less time to think and more focus on getting ready for the game.
Why San Francisco is unlikely to make any more pitching additions
Q: Are the Giants trying to keep money available for a big free agent next off season?
It's not primarily about a lockout, but rather a reluctance to commit to this year's weak free agent class, possibly saving funds for a stronger class next year.
Why San Francisco is unlikely to make any more pitching additions
Q: What are the chances of signing Scherzer and would it be beneficial?
Scherzer's connection with the organization might allow for a deal, but his age and the need for the Giants to fill their roster in unique ways complicate expectations.
