  • Amazing Host

This podcast is able to provide you with information that you normally would not get due to the host being a former player for the Giants. With that being said I do believe it is a great podcast with lots of information.

  • SEO Woes

I tried to find your podcast but had forgotten the name. A search in Apple Podcasts of SF Giants yielded twenty shows half of them defunct but not yours. Not everyone will think to type in full names of FP and SlussDog to uncover your secret cast. I no am not a fan of manipulative AI tools but they are great at solving technical issues so consult Gemini or ChatGPT and they will explain to you how to you to improve your SEO so baseball fans can easily find your show.

Manager Q & A: Tony Vitello on his first year, what he's learned and top priorities for the rest of the season
Q: Tony, I have a follow up question for you from your first answer. How did you spend your off day?
Vitello shares that he spent time in LA with friends, attended a concert, relaxed, and connected with colleagues, which helped him reset mentally during a busy season.
Live Giants chat! FP answers your questions on Webb, Vitello, Lee
Q: Is this a go-for-it year or a rebuild in progress with Vitello's management style?
He suggests a process-driven approach, recognizing Vitello as a first-time manager adapting on the fly and comparing the roster to a 'speedboat' situation; emphasizes that development and learning curves are part of a long-term plan rather than a one-year push.
Live Giants chat! FP answers your questions on Webb, Vitello, Lee
Q: FP, you may not want to do it, but you think long-term trading Logan while we're not competing is the best idea?
FP expresses that he doesn't want to be a GM but acknowledges in a 15-games-under-.500 season almost anything could be on the table, yet emphasizes evaluating what best serves the franchise, including assessing assets and potential returns while prioritizing team health and future depth.
Casey Schmitt joins the show!
Q: There was a notable moment when you were told to shag in the outfield and had to order a glove quickly. How did that start your approach to handling new duties?
That moment showed me it's about being ready and adaptable on the fly; I ordered a couple of gloves to compare at home and in the game, which taught me to adjust gear and mindset quickly to stay effective.
Casey Schmitt joins the show!
Q: Casey, you're juggling DH duties with everyday outfield and infield work. How has your routine evolved to manage all of that?
I've learned to keep things simple and adapt my preparation to the day's role, using a straightforward routine like hitting off the tee when DHing and staying ready in the cage when needed, which has helped maintain consistency without overthinking.
