  • Terrible editing

All they need to do to make this a 5 star program is hire someone to properly edit. The ads are placed right in the middle of conversations and are ridiculously loud compared to the extremely quiet dialogue. It takes spending money to make a decent show

  • Obnoxious ads / Amateur sound editing

I listen for some guests. The hosts are inconsistent. Annoying ads 89% of the time.

Cumulus is actively ruining the station.

Have begun ranking other Cumulus podcasts that intrude with 1 star based on absurdly earpiercing screaming banshee voices and interruptions.

The worst part is that the guests I want to listen are often calling in by phone and the staff in the radio booth are not professional enough to balance out the audio levels. Combine this with the horrible Cumulus ads and their awf... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Joe Pavelski Relives Sharks’ Legendary Comeback, Stanley Cup Heroics, and His Rise as a Championship Golfer
Q: What was it like being in the arena during that four-goal comeback in the third period, and how did the Sharks rally in that moment?
I think back to the energy in the building, the bench, and the crowd; it felt like anything could happen as we found momentum, fought back, and pushed toward overtime with the belief that we could flip the script despite the odds.
John Shea weighs in on Willie Adames taking a seat today as the Giants cannot sustain any momentum
Q: Why did Willie Adames sit and what's the situation with his injury?
The discussion suggested it was a routine day off amid ongoing consideration of his health, with a broader note that the team sometimes rests players to protect the overall lineup and season goals rather than chasing a single game.
John Shea weighs in on Willie Adames taking a seat today as the Giants cannot sustain any momentum
Q: What's the deal with the lineup construction and who's been hitting well besides the big names?
The manager tried not to put pressure on any one guy, suggesting everyone can carry the team at times, and emphasized the importance of collective production rather than forcing one player to carry the load.
Robb Nen Joins Murph & Markus to discuss the recent struggles of the San Francisco Giants Bullpen and What Mentality Is Needed For Someone to Be Successful in High Leverage Situations
Q: How does the closer-by-committee approach affect chemistry and confidence in the bullpen?
He notes that clarity in roles helps the bullpen mentally prepare and trust the process, whereas ambiguity can undermine confidence and performance, especially under high-leverage pressure.
Robb Nen Joins Murph & Markus to discuss the recent struggles of the San Francisco Giants Bullpen and What Mentality Is Needed For Someone to Be Successful in High Leverage Situations
Q: Did you fear going into a season that no defined closer was going to be a problem or is there a way out of this?
Nen explains that teams benefit from having a defined closer as an anchor; without that anchor, the bullpen struggles to settle in and players lose clarity about roles, which makes it harder to close out games.
