  • Terrible editing

All they need to do to make this a 5 star program is hire someone to properly edit. The ads are placed right in the middle of conversations and are ridiculously loud compared to the extremely quiet dialogue. It takes spending money to make a decent show

  • Obnoxious ads / Amateur sound editing

I listen for some guests. The hosts are inconsistent. Annoying ads 89% of the time.

Cumulus is actively ruining the station.

Have begun ranking other Cumulus podcasts that intrude with 1 star based on absurdly earpiercing screaming banshee voices and interruptions.

The worst part is that the guests I want to listen are often calling in by phone and the staff in the radio booth are not professional enough to balance out the audio levels. Combine this with the horrible Cumulus ads and their awf... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

6-1 The Tony V Show
Q: Tell us a little bit about Wilken Ramos.
Ramos is a wiry, athletic right-handed pitcher with a big smile and a big frame; he's a ground-ball specialist who can add depth to the bullpen and bring a different look from the mound.
Does Rams' move for Myles Garrett motivate 49ers to make moves to improve roster? We ask Larry Krueger in Hour 3
Q: What was your reaction to the Miles Garrett trade, and how does it affect the Niners' approach?
The Rams' all-in move changes the NFC West dynamic, pushing the 49ers to consider both big-impact moves and deeper, multi-position upgrades. Krueger emphasizes balancing cap space with the need to bolster pass rush and maintain depth, suggesting a cautious but proactive approach rather than panic or overreaction.
Mike Krukow joins the show to recap the Giants weekend series in Colorado, the upcoming series vs the Brewers, and what the coaching changes mean for the team going forward
Q: What stood out most from the weekend against Colorado?
The explosive Sunday offensive outburst as a momentum shift, plus the inconsistent closing situation that leaves questions about bullpen stability going into Milwaukee.
Steve Kroner on where the Giants can turn as losing streak hits four games
Q: What roster changes or strategic moves could help the Giants right now?
Creative alignments like deploying Casey Schmidt in left field to maximize offense, evaluating catcher usage, and reconsidering closer options to balance bullpen roles.
Steve Kroner on where the Giants can turn as losing streak hits four games
Q: Is this team good enough to turn things around or is this a longer rebuild in progress?
The host and guest acknowledge it's unclear; while the team has talented players, the next few weeks will reveal whether the Giants can regroup and show improvement.
