  • Terrible editing

All they need to do to make this a 5 star program is hire someone to properly edit. The ads are placed right in the middle of conversations and are ridiculously loud compared to the extremely quiet dialogue. It takes spending money to make a decent show

  • Obnoxious ads / Amateur sound editing

I listen for some guests. The hosts are inconsistent. Annoying ads 89% of the time.

Cumulus is actively ruining the station.

Have begun ranking other Cumulus podcasts that intrude with 1 star based on absurdly earpiercing screaming banshee voices and interruptions.

The worst part is that the guests I want to listen are often calling in by phone and the staff in the radio booth are not professional enough to balance out the audio levels. Combine this with the horrible Cumulus ads and their awf... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Giants and Phillies double header preview, plus Tony Vitello on Devers slump and how he can hit himself out of it
Q: What is your strategy for getting Rafael Devers out of his slump?
The strategy centers on patience, continuing to bat him in a meaningful spot while balancing the lineup, avoiding drastic changes, and allowing him to work through the slump with support from teammates and coaching staff.
Matt Maiocco on the 49ers potentially reaching for picks in the John Lynch era
Q: How would you characterize the 49ers' draft board approach this year?
The 49ers claim they stayed true to their draft board and did not reach for players just to fill positions, emphasizing consistency with their internal evaluations.
Brian Peacock on these self-proclaimed draft experts
Q: How does this draft compare to previous years in terms of value and strategy?
This draft feels like a continuation of the trend where the 49ers emphasize line play and speed, but there are questions about whether the extra picks added value, especially when those players may end up developmental rather than immediate contributors.
Brian Peacock on these self-proclaimed draft experts
Q: What do you think the main focus of the 49ers' offseason should be given the draft results?
The main focus should be to build the lines and add depth, while not overemphasizing the draft as the sole path to a Super Bowl. Free agency should address immediate needs, while the draft should aim to add players who will help in two to four years, keeping a long-term view.
4-30 The Tony V Show
Q: Trevor McDonald, do you have any word on sort of how things have been going?
Spring training showed strong momentum early, with some slowdowns later, but the pitcher has toughness and potential that could help the team both in short-term relief and longer-term plans.
