  • Turn the hosts/guests volume up

KNBR has this issue for a long time with the hosts and the guests being way too quiet. I listen to the radio, other podcasts, lots of different types of media and it’s always ONLY KNBR where I have to turn my speakers waaaaaay up to hear it properly.

  • Terrible editing

All they need to do to make this a 5 star program is hire someone to properly edit. The ads are placed right in the middle of conversations and are ridiculously loud compared to the extremely quiet dialogue. It takes spending money to make a decent show

  • Obnoxious ads / Amateur sound editing

I listen for some guests. The hosts are inconsistent. Annoying ads 89% of the time.

Cumulus is actively ruining the station.

Have begun ranking other Cumulus podcasts that intrude with 1 star based on absurdly earpiercing screaming banshee voices and interruptions.

The worst part is that the guests I want to listen are often calling in by phone and the staff in the radio booth are not professional enough to balance out the audio levels. Combine this with the horrible Cumulus ads and their awf... more
