Love the show but you have to get some Lav mics or something, the in and out, low sound level makes it hard to listen.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 51.26 Tom Tolbert Show | Special Guest: Jon Wilner & Sean Elliott
Q: What are the broader implications of NIL and revenue sharing on college athletics?
NIL and revenue sharing have shifted funding, recruiting, and decision-making, enabling wealthier programs to sustain legal battles and influence roster development, while raising questions about equality and long-term financial sustainability across the sport.
Ep. 51.26 Tom Tolbert Show | Special Guest: Jon Wilner & Sean Elliott
Q: What is the potential path toward a Super League in college football?
They discuss a scenario where the top-tier programs break away, possibly forming their own league with integrated media rights and promotion/relegation, which could alter anti-trust dynamics and how championships are decided.
Ep. 52.26 Tom Tolbert Show | Special Guest: Drew Remenda
Q: What does Vegas do with Hart going forward?
The consensus was that Hart should remain the goalie, with a strong emphasis on giving him one more chance, while ensuring solid front-line support and reducing turnovers to improve defensive play.
Ep. 48.26 Tom Tolbert Show | Special Guest: Mychal Thompson
Q: Should Wembanyama play 42 minutes a game in the finals?
Yes, if he isn't in foul trouble, he should play around 42 minutes per game to maximize impact, given the breaks and reviews that can slow the pace anyway.
Ep. 48.26 Tom Tolbert Show | Special Guest: Mychal Thompson
Q: How do you see the finals shaping up with the Knicks and Spurs, and what will be the keys for each team?
The wings for the Spurs need to step up, and Wembanyama's performance will be pivotal; for the Knicks, Carl Anthony Towns' shooting and maintaining outside threats could be the difference, while not getting in foul trouble will be critical for Wembanyama himself.
