I am sure this crew are blast to listen to for younger folks, but I am past 50 and listening to them tell their story is still a joy. Reminds me a lot of the best of times playing RPGs at school and in my 20’s when free time was a plentiful commodity. I found this podcast entirely on accident and I’m happy I’ve seen it. They play using the Genesis system and if you don’t know this system it is very important you look up some rules. They don’t begin having “mechanics moments” until the 3rd or 4th episode and even then you only get a bit at a time.
The characters are fun and interesting. The DM does a great job. The opening vignette is always very interesting and very well told.
