  • Good soap, questionable opinions.

I’ve listened to this podcast since the spring and it gets harder every week. The hosts masks it behind their opinions of what a good soap is but it just ruins the listening experience. This soap is phenomenal with its share of bad weeks. But so many good weeks receive bad reviews from some hosts. It’s exhausting to hear yall compare it to other soaps and prejudge this show by what YOU like to see in soaps without BTG being able to stand alone. Zoom out sometime. It’s good soap and yall are bein... more

When your podcast pops up. I immediately stop all others and listen to yours. I believe Ashley and Coryon use to be on another podcast I listened to years ago. Glad I found you guys again. The Gatekeepers is a very classy show. The vulgarity is kept to a minimum. Keep up the good work

  • Keep it coming!

I haven’t listened to this show from the beginning but I have listened for a while. I noticed in the most recent episode that the sound quality was better (mic volumes were more even) and way less instances of hosts talking over each other. Those were the only real issues I had with the show when I first started listening. I love heading to this show once I’m caught up with BTG episodes from the week. I often end up laughing alongside this crew and it’s fun that they don’t all agree on everythin... more

  • Enjoyable, even when I disagree a lot

I think the conversations are great. It is annoying that they let real life scenarios get in the way of a good soapy story. I wish they had a Genx co host that has been a long time soap watcher, maybe since the late 70’s or early 80’s that might bring a different perspective on this show. Lastly, the microphone situation is a lot. One microphone is always sooo loud and sometimes when he talks, you can’t hear when someone else is trying to speak. I feel like I’m either turning up or down the sou... more

  • 2nd review

This is my 2nd review. I look forward to a lot of the hosts’ insight of the podcast every week. The issue I have is that it feels like some of the baggage of two of the hosts from watching other soaps has rubbed off on the enjoyment of Beyond the Gates. It sometimes sounds like they don’t think the show is good and could deter others from watching it. This is a platform and not Social media so I believe the hosts should consider that when how they critique this historic new daytime drama. T... more
