Tired of the Arsenal bashing. Martin Samuel constantly moaning about Arsenal winning style. It takes different styles to win trophies. Chelsea, Leicester City, Fergie’s Man United last team were all pragmatic teams that won. No one slagged them off. Why are intelligent journalists falling for this tired troupe. You are better than this.
Just listened to the podcast on Bodo etc and these three are the best team, particularly as Gregor had really come on this with his comments (sorry if that sounds condescending). He's much better as Tom's No 2 than leading the podcast. I don't mind the others, particularly the stats guy, jpining in but I prefer to listen to ex-professionals with Tom as the presenter leading the way.

I've given you 5 stars but please, PLEASE STOP TALKING OVER EACH OTHER. You talk over and interrupt each other multiple times per episode. The podcast would be so much more enjoyable if you learned to cut it out.
Good pod, but becomes incredibly annoying and tedious when Tom says the “both things can be true” nonsense. It’s like a kid who finds a saying that makes people laugh once, so says it every time they can. It gets old. Quick. I’m begging, please stop.

The discussions center on top-tier football, with a strong emphasis on the Premier League and European competition. Panels dissect title races, tactical trends, and club dynamics, often anchored by veteran Times reporters and pundits. Guests bring on-field experience and data-driven analysis, while lively banter and editorial slant toward informed, not merely sensational, football storytelling. A standout feature is the regular mix of long-form insights from seasoned journalists with lively, sometimes contentious debates, plus coverage of the EFL and transfer-window dynamics that keeps listeners ahead of the curve for sponsorship and pitching opportunities.
