  • Terrible podcast

One guy is a loud mouth with nothing interesting to say and keeps repeating himself. They bring in Derrick Young and his audio is so low that you have to increase the volume a few decimals but when the loud mouth starts saying in between it blasts the audio so high that it is impossible to keep listening. Horrible content and the set up. The content presented here is absolutely horrendous and not worth anyone’s time. Stay away from this one.

5/5/26 - Hour 1: Mark Ewing discusses the Big 12's private equity deal
Q: What is the Big 12 getting into with RedBird Capital Partners?
Mark Ewing explains that the deal involves a $12.5 million upfront investment plus an optional $30 million line of credit for member schools, framed as a strategic investment rather than a typical private equity loan, with factors like interest rate and repayment terms affecting its attractiveness.
5/4/26 - Hour 1: Sports Illustrated writer matt Verderame on Chiefs draft & Bat Cats swept
Q: What is your assessment of Day 2 and Day 3 picks, particularly the fit of Delaney and the other corners?

5/4/26 - Hour 1: Sports Illustrated writer matt Verderame on Chiefs draft & Bat Cats swept
Q: If the Chiefs had traded up to different picks, like Bain or Lane, how frustrated would you have been with the decision?
Verderame explains he would have given the trade an F in that hypothetical, arguing that several top tackles were risky long-term bets and that the team's needs at edge, corner, and receiver were not fully addressed by those alternative paths.
5/5/26 - Hour 2: Interview with Wendell Gregory
Q: How quickly did K-State get in touch after Wendell entered the portal?
The host notes that communication was immediate, with coaches presenting a clear plan and scheme that appealed to Wendell, leading to his decision to transfer.

Q: What impressed you most about Avery's game? From his arm to his feet, he's a dual threat guy.
Wendell Gregory highlights Avery Johnson's mobility, arm talent, leadership, and dual-threat potential as keys to the offense and defense's overall threat level.
