  • Terrible podcast

One guy is a loud mouth with nothing interesting to say and keeps repeating himself. They bring in Derrick Young and his audio is so low that you have to increase the volume a few decimals but when the loud mouth starts saying in between it blasts the audio so high that it is impossible to keep listening. Horrible content and the set up. The content presented here is absolutely horrendous and not worth anyone’s time. Stay away from this one.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

5/21/26 - Hour 1: Casey Alexander’s first test will be Gonzaga
Q: What makes Gonzaga a unique challenge for K-State this year?
Gonzaga's bigs, versatile offense, and strong coaching under Mark Few create a robust test for K-State's frontcourt, especially early in the season when role players are still settling in.
5/8/26 - Full Show: KSU turning down private capital cash & interview w/ Makari Bodiford
Q: What stands out about the running back room this spring?
Makari highlights a strong, deep room with multiple capable backs including Joe Jackson, Jay Harris, and Rodney Fields, emphasizing the competition and camaraderie.
5/8/26 - Full Show: KSU turning down private capital cash & interview w/ Makari Bodiford
Q: Tell us about your background and what brought you to Manhattan.
Makari Bodiford describes coming from Memphis, adjusting to the Big 12, and joining K-State as a transfer with a goal to contribute as a physical, versatile back and leader in the room.
5/13/26 - Hour 1: Mason Voth from K-State Online
Q: What are your thoughts on expanding the playoff to 24 teams?
The expansion is seen as potentially diluting the regular season and the value of conference championships; traditional power structures and the meaningfulness of season-long performance could be eroded, making it harder for teams outside the power conferences to feel truly accomplished.
5/5/26 - Hour 1: Mark Ewing discusses the Big 12's private equity deal
Q: What is the Big 12 getting into with RedBird Capital Partners?
Mark Ewing explains that the deal involves a $12.5 million upfront investment plus an optional $30 million line of credit for member schools, framed as a strategic investment rather than a typical private equity loan, with factors like interest rate and repayment terms affecting its attractiveness.
