  • Truly the best

Some try to take themselves too seriously. Some spout nonsense. Scott (and Chauncey) have the perfect balance.

  • Good content, but work needs done

Please quit drinking when you record. It might make your advertisers happy, but it ruins the audio. Lip smacks and spit swallows all episode. It’s gross to listen to.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Men's Basketball Head Coach Casey Alexander Joins the 'cast
Q: How quickly did you have to figure out the allocation of resources and budget to fit the roster you wanted?
We started with a detailed plan, allocated money strategically across positions, and accepted that plans might shift as offers were accepted or declined, recognizing the money and roster dynamics are intertwined.
Men's Basketball Head Coach Casey Alexander Joins the 'cast
Q: A, how many games did you inherit? And B, how close is this upcoming non-conference schedule going to resemble what you hope to build out for the future?
We inherited three games from the players era, with others to be scheduled, and we aim to balance the non-conference slate with a mix of home-heavy and competitive opponents while coordinating with conference scheduling and logistics.
Kicking Off June w/ a Q&A Episode
Q: What one announcement for both football and basketball could come out before the season and would positively change my outlook for each of these seasons?
The host suggests that for basketball the schedule matters most, with a lean toward avoiding top-tier non-conference games, while for football the roster is largely set; any meaningful change would likely be an advantageous schedule rather than a single big reveal.
Future K-State Hall of Famer Frank Martin Joins the 'cast (presented by Manhattan Brewing Company)
Q: What was the moment like when you got the call that you might be leaving for another program, and how did you decide what to do?
Martin explains the complexity of the decision, the emotional weight of leaving players behind, and the importance of doing what was best for the program long-term, while acknowledging the personal strain and loyalty to the people involved.
May Q&A and ranting about how national college football media is the worst
Q: If Adrian Martinez stays healthy all of 2022, what ends up happening with Will Howard in 2023?
The host envisions Will Howard transferring or moving on if Martinez stays healthy, with Avery Johnson stepping in as quarterback in various scenarios, and outlines a path where the starting duties shift depending on health and performance.
