Full Blossom of the evening is the podcast equivalent of a coffee and cherry pie at the Double R while wearing a really great sweater: warm, sweet, stimulating but cosy and comforting. Hilary and Indigo’s evident affection for each other and boundless enthusiasm for David Lynch are delightful. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the obscure lore.

It really hasn’t hit me that he’s gone. It still feels like he’s here, that because of what he’s made, he’ll never truly die. The first movie I ever watched from him was The Elephant Man. I was mainly watching it for John Hurt, but it introduced me to the beautiful craft that Lynch would imbue into his movies. Years later, i watched twin peaks.
