This podcast is for people who own coffee carts who have the goal of the coffee cart being the business and not necessarily opening a Café. It’s for Coffee caterers.

the people who run this Podcasts clearly know what they’re doing, and they share the information and very open and tr... more

37. How to Land Recurring Contracts in Mobile Catering
Q: How can you improve post-event communications and reviews?
Automate post-event messaging to collect feedback and reviews, schedule reminders (3/7/1 days before and after events), and leverage Google Maps reviews to boost lead generation and rankings.
37. How to Land Recurring Contracts in Mobile Catering
Q: What about tastings for potential large clients?
Tastings can be used strategically; if on-site is costly, offer a paid service; warehouse tastings can be charged to cover labor while applying credit toward the eventual booking, and high-value prospects may justify a comped or near-comped trial when the lifetime value merits it.
37. How to Land Recurring Contracts in Mobile Catering
Q: How should pricing and payment terms be handled for big contracts?
Push for favorable terms such as pay-as-you-go or monthly, but acknowledge that large contracts may involve slower payments; consider structured line items, clear per-cart or per-hour pricing, and avoid heavy discounting unless it aligns with a longer-term value proposition.
37. How to Land Recurring Contracts in Mobile Catering
Q: How do you land annual contracts?
Start with frequent, visible engagement on previous work, offer a blend of informal recurring services evolving into formal contracts, and use clear pricing and benefits to illustrate value; be prepared for tougher payment terms on larger deals, and consider comped or warehouse tastings to build intent.
50.Why This Coffee Cart Pioneer Refuses to Scale (And Makes More Because of It)
Q: Why did you choose to keep the business relatively small and community-focused instead of scaling aggressively?
She emphasizes clarity of purpose and personal balance, stating that she values a steady, controllable pace, roastery development, and meaningful community connection over rapid expansion.
